Born in New York and raised in the vibrant streets of Dublin, Jennifer’s journey began with an honours degree from the National College of Art and Design (NCAD) in 1995, where she earned the Irish Board of Trade Award for her exceptional talent.

She sharpened her expertise in the fast-paced New York fashion scene, working for iconic labels like Katayone Adeli and Calvin Klein, before returning to Ireland to launch her self-titled label in 2007. Just seven months later, she clinched the prestigious Brown Thomas Designer Award, marking the start of her meteoric rise.

Rothwell’s collections are a masterful fusion of contemporary sophistication and Ireland’s rich cultural tapestry, drawing deep inspiration from ancient folklore, legends, spirituality and mythology.

Through cutting-edge digital printing techniques, she infuses luxurious silks with bold, vibrant patterns that transform garments into wearable art, evoking the spirit of the Irish Arts and Crafts movement.
