The Brehon Academy is run by one person and sustained by the people who value it. Whether you can spare a minute or a little more, here are the ways you can help.

An open house for learning

In early Ireland, the briugu, or hospitaller, kept a house beside a public road that was open to every traveller, and the law gave him high status for never turning a guest away. The Triads of Ireland even count a “cauldron of guests” among the three cauldrons found in every fort.

The Brehon Academy tries to be that kind of house for learning. The Resource Library of 338 books and articles is free to every member, the YouTube channel holds 441 free videos, and the posts on this site are open to all.

Your support pays for hosting, books and research, and for the hours it takes to turn dense medieval sources into something everyone can read.
